decided to watch your Pisa video after you commented on mine hahaha. it seems as there's not many people when you were there compared to when i went where there was a LOT of people. aww didn't get to visit Lucca since we were on tour but it looks like a great place to go to definitely after getting a taste of Pisa and taking failed photos with the tower haha. looks like a charming city and feels like a hidden gem since people tend to just focus on Pisa so Lucca doesn't seem too crowded. thanks for sharing!

That is great to know to not spend all day in Pisa. I always love to find the little towns that most of the tourists don't go to. That way you get a real experience of the country itself. We aren't certain…is that pizza made with garbanzo beans? Local arthritis, hahaha!

I've been to Pisa last year, and I enjoyed it. However, there's not much to do except for admiring the tower and taking some funny pics. Lucca is a very good alternative, but in my opinion, we should visit both.

Is Pisa worth the visit? Yes! Even if it is a touristy area I still think it is still worth the visit. I value the experience of seeing it first hand than on pictures. Lovely video. Love how you captured everything on your video.

While I meant to avoid Pisa, during a tour from Florence we had a unexpected visit to Pisa because some people in the group asked if we mind if we went there also included in the price we paid. Obviously I said sure why not, it was definitely a cool sight but super touristy when there is so many other amazing places to see in Italy.

The most fun I had in Pisa was just watching people try and get their "leaning" photos. I had no idea about Lucca, it looks awesome! Great views from the tower! Never heard of Cecina either, but it sound delicious. Thanks for showing us around Brian!

My parents wanted to go here so bad last time we did a family tour and we didn't have time. Luca definitively sounds like a great town. Looks very impressive for sure. That bakery and pizzeria sounds awesome. Thanks for the tips guys.

Always wondered because it’s kinda in the middle of nowhere I remember. I’ve heard talks about taking the bell part off at the top lol to stop in falling. Wonder if it would fall one day. Lucca that’s looks like a nice local place 👍🏽

Love the “just off the beaten path” places to get away from the crowds. I’m sure the food was delicious! Sounds like you guys have been there a couple of times…thanks for sharing your spot! We have also heared Pisa is not really worth a visit. D happens to have an ex-colleague living in Lucca, so maybe we could visit as it looks so lovely and try the chickpea bread. How do you spell it?

Enjoyed this one very much! We're usually avoiding super famous places as well, as the experience there is rarely living up to the hype. Lucca looks so much more like a place we'd enjoy, exerpiencing authentic Italian life… and the food of course 😋.

That's some cool lighting at the beginning. What time of day was it? Or was it something to do with the camera? Pisa looks cool but I would just not enjoy being stuck somewhere so busy.

Ha ha wish I had seen this when I went to Pisa. Actually, YouTube did not exist yet. I was there 20 min, bored, had pizza, and left. Wish I knew of this other little town.

Dang, we went to Pisa before we started vlogging! We went as part of a day trip, just stopped for a couple hours. It was nice for a bit, but don't commit a whole day to it. Lots of great stuff nearby, though, like you said 😉
